Visual Design Inspiration | Adam Quest

Adam Quest is a young designer from Poland, gripping the industries attention. Already working with brands such as The Wall Street Journal, Men’s Health and McDonald’s – Quest has made a significant impact on the level of talent in accessible design.

When describing his artistic influences, he dubs his style as “modern vintage” and attributes this to the art deco movement of the 20s and 30s, which included “old colour palettes and grains”. From a young age, he also noted how graffiti and street-art have impacted his style — inviting him to explore using visual metaphors for topical, and sometimes controversial subjects.

However, it’s how Adam applies this stylistic approach to his designs, which has made him the talking point of the industry in recent years. Proficient in creating readable and informative graphic icons without any textual pointers, Quest has developed a natural ability for infographic illustrations and modern, vectored line-art cityscapes.
